Revamped Umpire's Association and Seminar sees increase in numbers

The NZBUA seminar over the weekend was probably the most successful in recent years. The NZBUA have taken a different approach to the introduction courses and the annual weekend seminar, which has resulted in a good group of new umpires getting their start this season.

Umpires attending the seminar came from Auckland, Christchurch, Nelson, Tauranga, and Hamilton.

Many thanks to Howick Pakaranga Hawks for field use Saturday & teams on Sunday (Johnny Southey) , Orewa Sharks for field, clubhouse and Teams on Sunday (Blair Heeney), The Pie Piper (Danielle), Harbour Sports House, and The Fieldhouse (Pinky, Duncan and the 3 catchers). Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Special thanks to Baseball NZ CEO & Legend John Fellet for paying a visit and unwavering support for NZBUA, and to ABA President Andrew Laird for visiting.
